The Piano, known as the Pianoforte back then, became a leading instrument of Western music. It was an instrument of vast keys and could be played by peoples or all ages and levels. The first piano was almost entirely invented by a man named Bartolomeo Cristofori of Padua, a musician and inventor of many instruments. Although the invention dates back many, many years ago, the piano is still used today and one of the most played instruments in the world.
