Description:

This act created social security for people in the United States. In other words, this established a system of benefits for the elderly, victims of industrial accidents, independent mothers or fathers, unemployed people, handicapped, and the blind to provide for those who cannot work to get money. It takes a percent out of every working person's paycheck and rations it out among the people who need it.
