jul 2, 1890 - Sherman Anti-Trust Act
Description:
During the early and mid-1800s there were no government regulations on businesses and large corporations. This allowed many large companies to monopolize an industry and use unethical ways to make a large profit margin. The Sherman Antitrust Act authorized the federal government to take certain measures in order to dissolve trusts and corporations that have monopolized the market.
