Description:

After the start of armed conflict between British soldiers and American colonists began in 1775, the Americans started to fight for their rights under the British crown. Once the Revolutionary War was in full swing, the movement for formal independence from the British crown had grown momentously. In 1776, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and two others were to write the formal statement, and the Declaration of Independence was adopted on the 4th of that July.
