Description:

Wilson wrote his Fourteen Points following the end of World War I. Among other things, it called for liberation of the seas, the disarmament of national navies, and the creation of a League of Nations. The goal of his plan was to create and maintain world peace. Although most of it was rejected, the League of Nations was created; it still exists today.
