Description:

The Boston Massacre was an event in which five American protestors were shot by British soldiers after colonists started to throw stuff at them. The protests were caused by the raised taxes forced onto them by the British after the Seven Years’ War. In total, five Americans were killed. The Boston Massacre was the first major protest of British rule, which foreshadows the eventually Revolutionary War.
