Description:
Went to war to increase their power even as political order broke down to Rome. There were politically inspired riots to restore the power of the tribunes. Some Romans tried to stop chaos in Rome's government. One person named Cicero called upon upper class Romans to make Rome better. He argued to make generals have less power, he wanted Romans to have more say in what happens in the senate and to restore the checks and balances in the government.
