Description:
The Amulonites were the descendants of the priests of Noah. Almost all of them were destroyed in the attack on the Nephites.
When this attacked failed many more Lamanites began to repent. In anger the last of the Amulonites commanded that they should be killed.
The Lamanites, seeing the injustice of this command, turned against the Amulonites, who fled into the wilderness.
While the repentant Lamanites went and joined the people of Anti-Nephi-Lehi, the rest of the Lamanites began to actively hunt the last of the Amulonites and burn them at the stake, and thus the Amulonites were destroyed.
There is indication that the hunting of the Amulonites continued for several years, but they ceased to be a unique people and lost all power.
