nov 16, 91 BC - Ammon confronts Lamoni's father
Description:
God told Ammon to go to Middoni to help his brethren. Lamoni goes with him, and on the way they meet Lamoni's father.
Lamoni's father was much more hardened that Lamoni was, and he ordered Lamoni to kill Ammon, as he was a Nephite.
Ammon eventually subdues the old king and threatens to kill him if he does not release Aaron and the others, as well as make Lamoni an independent king.
The king agrees and asks that Ammon come and teach him.
After this encounter Ammon continued to Middoni where he releases his brethren from prison. He returned to the Land of Ishmael, while the others went their separate ways to preach the gospel.
This takes place shortly after Aaron and his brethren are cast into prison, but after they had suffered for many days. Thus I place it about a month and a half later.
