Description:
When Ammon and his brethren came into the lands of the Lamanites they separated. Ammon went to the land of Ishmael and became a servant to King Lammoni.
When the king's flocks were scattered, Ammon defending them in a miraculous manner, having the power of God with him.
When the king asked about it Ammon taught him the gospel and the King was converted. The entire household, including Ammon, was overcome by the spirit and fell into a stupor.
The one exception was the queens maid, Abish. She had been converted sometime before, and when she saw what happened she spread the word, glorying God.
When Ammon, Lamoni, and the rest woke up they began to teach the people and soon a large portion of the people of Ishmael were converted.
