Description:

After finding the Amulonites the Lamanites still could not find their way back to the Land of Nephi. So, after wandering another month or so they found the people of Alma.

Alma showed them the way back to the Land of Nephi, but the Lamanites betrayed him and brought his people into bondage. The King of the Lamanites (most likely the father of King Lamoni) placed Amulon as a king over the Land of Helam and the people of Alma.
