Description:
When the Lamanites attacked the people of Zeniff, King Noah ordered the men to leave the women and children behind. Most refused, but his wicked priests, as well as a number of other men did follow him into the wilderness, abandoning their families.
After finding themselves no longer persued by the Lamanites these men, for the most part, repented and wanted to return to their families. When King Noah commanded them not to they became angry and burned him at the stake. They would have also burned his priests, but the priests fled farther into the wilderness.
Shortly after these men were found by scouts sent by Gideon. They rejoined the people of Zeniff in the land of Nephi and brought the news of the death of King Noah.
