We added an option to enable everyone in a company to be abble to write blog posts. This option is in the new Blogs writing and management experience, which is currently available to Beta clients. It can be found in the blogs settings (on the front-end) and can be set per blog.

This means you can still have a dedicated blog for company news, where only certain people can post, and another one that is OPEN for everyone to write. Open blogs can be used for employees to speak up, share events, intiatives, book reviews, or whatever topic and purpose that suits your organization.
