Description:

Jones’s First building, was inspired after visiting Italy, Classical design, Italian renaissance deign, and Palladian design.

Built for Queen Anne.

Parts of it were destroyed during the civil wars. During the restoration it was “restored” and given back to the Wife of Charles I , Henrietta Maria of France.

The central part of the building was original, but Charles II added the covered walkways, and the East and West Bridge rooms.
