Description:
Sherem was the first Anti-Christ that came among the Nephites. He taught that there was no devil, no Christ, and not final judgment. While he claimed to believe the scriptures and follow the law of Moses, he denied all prophecy and the reason for the law.
He actively sought to contended with Jacob over the faith, and at the word of Jacob was smitten by God, and died a few days later. After he was cursed he recalled all his words and proclaimed the truth of the gospel just before dying.
