Description:
Nephi's bow, made of fine steel, breaks while hunting. After a few days of suffering and complaining he constructs a new bow and seeks his father's counsel as where to hunt.
The event is while they are wondering in the wilderness, before the death of Ishmael, and before they arrived in Bountiful.
I place this event early in the year 597, about a year and a half after their marriages and their continued journey.
This is also about a year before Ishmael's death. They had paused in their journey to hunt when Nephi broke his bow, and again just before Ishamael died.
