On the night of the 6th of April Christ was born to Mary. Angels announced his birth to the shepherds and the wise men started on their two year journey, following the star that appeared in the heavens to mark the way.
In America the people witnesses a great miracle. As the sun set on April 5th there was a great light in the heavens that illuminated the land as well as the sun at noon day. This was not the sun, as the people witnessed the sun setting, but also witnessed that it never got darker. In addition to this a new star appeared in the sky.
Those who had joined the conspiracy to kill the faithful were greatly astonished and gave up their designs. In the following months the more part of all the people of the Nephites and Lamanites became converted and joined the church.
