Description:

Mussolini attacked Ethiopia. League of Nations job was to stop people attacking so this was their chance to prove the league of nations was useful. However, Britain and France wanted to keep to friendship with Italy to go against to Hitler in the war. They still needed to tell Mussolini off for what he did. He got no repercussions and got to keep Italy which received a lot of backlash.
