aug 2, 1952 - Jama'at-i-Islami Kashmir and Hind part
Description:
Jama'at-i-Islami Hind separated from the Kashmir branch owing to the disputed nature of J&K. Sa'aduddin was particularly concerned about the Muslims of Jammu as they had suffered communal violence abetted by the Maharaja during Partition and suffered from the feeling of being an insecure minority thereafter. He warned his colleagues in Kashmir that Jammu Muslims needed to be helped otherwise they could be Hindu-influenced in terms of culture and faith.
