jan 1, 1774 - Intolerable Acts. 1774 The Intolerable Acts were harsher laws for the colonists, to punish them for the Boston Tea Party. These Acts included making the Boston colonists pay for the tea, and allowed the British Soldeirs to do whatever they wanted.
