Description:

This was the final land battle of the Persian wars.
It was a long 11-day stalemate where they both stood in places waiting for the other to come down. Greek fake retreated forcing Persia to attack the Greeks turned around and beat them. They forced most of the Persian forces out of Attica this ended the Persian Wars in Greece.
