Description:

The Missouri Compromise was made because of the problem of slavery. In the north slavery had been outlawed and there was deliberation over which states were free and which states could own slaves. the solution to this problem was the Missouri Compromise which Basically meant that any north of Missouri was free and any state to the south could have slaves.
