jan 1, 1755 - The Seven Years War
The Seven Years war was fought between Britain and France at a time when The colonies were still firmly under the rule of Britain. Therefore, the men in the colonies helped to fight this war. The main conflict of the war was territory in North America. The result of the war was Britain winning the territory and a sense of national pride falling over the colonies. This however turned out to be one of the causes of the Revolutionary war because the British still looked down upon the colonies and made it apparent that they were not equal.
