Description:
The Uprising of 1622 began because of the mistreatment and harassment of the Native Americans. The attack was lead by the Powhatan tribes in Virginia and were very successful. The Native Americans were content with the settlers until they began making demands of the Natives. They also began stealing food and other supplies from the Native Americans. This lead to the attack which killed many colonist.
