Chemical weapons were first used by Germany who attacked Britain. First, it was in October 1914 and later were used on December 19, 1915, by Germany against Allied troops. They used Phosgene. Phosgene was a colorless gas that was six times more lethal than chlorine gas. It targeted one's lung filing it with fluid until the vicitm died of suffocation.Added to timeline:
