sep 8, 1777 - The Articles of Confederation Key Concept 3.2,III

Description:

With the creation of the Articles of Confederation in 1777, many states agreed that there would be a strong friendship between the states and each state would get one vote. The total number of nine votes would allow for laws to be passed and there needed to be a unanimous vote for amendments. States also had many powers and limits as mentioned in the following text. These powers consisted of waging war and making peace, barrow and issue money, and raise an army and a navy if need be. But the limits required that states did not have the power to tax, to regulate commerce, and no executive and judicial branch.
