4h 37min, apr 23, 1763 y - Proclamation Line of 1763
Description:
After issuing Washington to consult the French, the British government decided to issue a proclamation line. The proclamation line prohibited settlers from settling west of the Appalachian Mountains, which was intended to separate the settlers and Native Americans, as well as limit the colonial production. Unfortunately for the British government, the act was very unpopular with the colonists, as they had ventured to America to gain more independence. The proclamation line was also very hard to enforce, and the settlers continued westward anyway. Key Concept 3.1.1V
