jan 1, 1660 - Radisson and des Groseilliers return
Description:
In 1660 two voyageurs by the name of Pierre-Esprit Radisson and Médard des, Groseilliers returned to Montreal with hundreds of canoes full of furs. Because they did not obtain a licence before they set out, the furs are confiscated by the adminitration of New France and des Groseilliers was put in jail briefly.
