- Day 412
- They reach Gabriel's church and go inside. The place looks amazing. Abraham wants to stay the night here but Andrea is concerned about not finding Dale. She goes out for some air and sees someone watching them from the trees. She runs back inside and tells the group, she immediately blames Gabriel for Dale's disappearance and them being watched. Gabriel swears he doesn't know what happened to Dale and was alone this whole time.
- Rick pins him against the wall and Gabriel tells the group that they were sent to punish him. Rick wants to know what he means. Gabriel tells the group how in the beginning he got scared and locked up the church at night. People he knew started coming in the morning looking for sanctuary but he turned them all away or he would starve. They stayed outside the church until zombies came to devour them, to which he heard their screams.
- He begs Rick to go God's work and kill him. Rick believes his story and lets him go.
