jan 16, 1917 - The Zimmerman Note

Description:

It was a letter sent from Germany's Arthur Zimmerman to the president of Mexico. It said that if Mexico helped them with world war 1 they would help Mexico regain control and rule over the states of New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona. Wilson America's president was mad about this and used this as one of his reasons to against Germany in world war 1. The message itself consisted of codes that very extremely tough to break but thanks to british intelligance it was decoded.
