Description:
A Liberty bond was sold in the United States after WWI to make up for a lot of loss. Buying the bonds became a symbol of patriotic duty in the United States and introduced the idea of financial securities to many citizens for the first time. People were also forced to buy liberty bonds to help support the country. These are also still used now sometimes.
