mar 3, 1918 - Brest-Litovsk
Description:
The Brest-Litovsk was signed because the new Russian revolutionary leaders planned to withdraw Russia from the war. Russia, Poland Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia were forced to give up large amounts of their territory. This caused an end to fighting at the eastern front, which allowed Germany to put all their troops into the western front.
