Pasteur's first ever vaccine discovery was that of chicken cholera. He did this after accidentally exposing the chickens to the attenuated form. He went on to extend his germ theory to develop causes and vaccinations for diseases such as anthrax, cholera, tuberculosis, and smallpox.
