Description:
Alexandre Yersin was the first person to find the bacteria that causes plague
He learned to isolate bacteria and test it on animals.
Yersin took the bacteria from buboes of dead sailor and transferred it to a guinea pig in order to prove that Y. Pestis was what caused the disease
Yersin created the hypothesis that Y. Pestis infected rats and then transferred to humans
