Result of Rodney King incident that too place where 4 police officers were involved in the beating and severe violence of Rodney King who suffered from kidney damage and skull fractures. Officers ended up getting away and found not-guilty by all-white jury. Koreans and Blacks become scapegoats of this incident because they were still minorities at the time and tensions were high. Koreans were not politically active and were in an area of predominantly black population. Led to second court hearing that compensated Rodney King millions of dollars and firing of officers from LAPD.
