Description:

The Storming of Bastille was a crucial part of the revolution as it represented the monarch rule over people.

Bastille is a medieval fortress turned into a prison. At the time of the attack there was only seven prisoners inside but instead held a supply of weapons and ammunition.

In July 14 1789 a mob of people wanted the prison not for the people but for the supply of ammo and weapons it held inside, when the governor of the prison didn't comply the mob attacked and won the battle with the governor on the end of a spike in the end.
