Description:

1. The NAACP registered nine black students to attend the all-white Little Rock Central High, which was met by many angry white families and parents who threatened the black students from entering the school, so Eisenhower responded by sending the 101st Airborne Division to protect the students.

4. One major cause was that they wanted to try slowly integrating black students into schools after the decision of Brown v. Board
