Description:

-Most dangerous place and segregated in the south. King Leads protest and gets arrested. Letter from Birmingham jail. Children Protest. Bull Conner puts out police dogs and water hoses on the demonstrators. Decision to turn dogs and fire hoses on the protesters became national news.
People Involved- The "Bull" Eugene Conner, MLK, and George Wallace.
-Occurred in Birmingham.
-One major cause of this incient is the fact that if the Civil RIghts Movement were to happen they would have to tackle the most segregated and dangerous place in the South which was in fact Birmingham.
-Major outcomes of this were that businesses were desegregated, Birmingham was rid of Jim Crow Laws, and Kennedy is going to propose a Civil Rights Bill.
