Description:
Des Groseilliers arrives at Rupert River in Hudson Bay, where his boat the Nonsuch finds refuge to camp at until the weather passes by. The crew built a stockade and then called Charles Fort. While on land waiting for the wather to get better Des Groseilliers traded for furs with nearly 300 aboriginal traders from James Bay. The Nonsuch returns to England in 1669 with a cargo full of furs worth a total of £1,380
