The September 11th attacks consisted of 4 airplane hijackings and crashes. About 3000 people were killed and over 6,000 civilians were injured. Multiple airplanes were hijacked by terrorists, two of which were crashed into both World Trades Centers in New York City. Another plane crashed into the Pentagon, while the last one crashed in a field on its way to Washington D.C.Added to timeline:
