Description:
The United States entered WWII after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. The U.S. responded by dropping two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945, respectively. The bombings killed an estimated 150,000-200,000 people in Japan. This resulted in Japan’s Surrender in WW2.
