Description:
In a last attempt to harm the British, and French economy this Law repealed the previous embargo on American shipping, and ports. However, the law did not lift embargo on ships bound for French or English ships. This law much like Jefferson previous embargo act was ineffective, and adversly affected the Amercian economy.Added to timeline:
