jul 4, 1884 - Louis Riel Returns
Description:
The federal government failed to issue the land that they promised to the descendants of Red River Metis. The Metis developed concerns about their rights and safety, and wanted to protest against the federal government. They turn to Louis Riel to lead them. During his exile, Louis became very religious, and saw the proposed idea as God's plan for him. Riel returned from his exile to lead his people once again.
