Description:
This council was called by Pisan Pope John XXIII to settle the Papal Schism. At this council, they tried, convicted, and murdered John Huss on charges of heresy, though he was not permitted to defend himself. The council also condemned Wyclif as a heretic and ordered his bones to be exhumed and burned.
