jan 5, 1922 - Sight-Saving and Speech Correction Classes
Description:
In 1922, sight-saving classes were established for children who had visual impairments. Speech correction classes were also introduced for students who had trouble with speaking. Similarily, these students were segregated from the "normal" children and went to school with "like" individuals. (Ellis & Axelrod, 2016, p. 6)
