Description:
It was the birth of Georgia. King George the second allowed James Oglethorpe to make the colony of Georgia to be made because he believed it would boost the economy of Britain. It would serve as a buffer colony to protect South Carolina from the Spanish in present day Florida. Also so the British to establish mercantilism and philanthropy.Added to timeline:
