Description:
On April 6, 1917, the U.S. joined Britain, France, and Russia to fight in World War 1. The 2 million U.S. soldiers that went into the war were lead by general John J. Pershing. Although most Americans were not in favor for the choice because they wanted to stay neutral, the U.S. still went into the war to fight on the battlefields of France.
