Recycle Beirut is a private company that opened in order to take up the issue of recyclable material being wasted and accumulating in the streets. Their process consists of collecting the materials from peoples homes and offices, packaging them at a Recycle Beirut facility, and selling the materials to various recycling centers. This company aims to tackle the problems of the Lebanese waste crisis in addition to the issue of one and a half Syrian refugees by creating jobs for Syrians and Lebanese alike.
