may 31, 1961 - Mapp v Ohio
Description:
Dollree Mapp's house was searched by police without a warrant and the police arrested Mapp because they found obscene material. Mapp argued that the materials gained were illegal and couldn't be used in court and the supreme court agreed. But because she was arrested in the first place, she did not enjoy the constitutional rights that should've protected her.
