Description:
On September 3, 1783, after eight years of war, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, John Jay, and Henry Laurens had negotiated the Treaty in Paris. The Treaty of Paris officially ended the Revolutionary War, brought the British to acknowledge the independence of America, destroyed the colonial empire of Great Britain in North America, and U.S. boundaries were finally established. This was all authorized by King George Ⅲ and The Congress of Confederation.
